This is the part of my story I didn’t plan to tell.
Cancer wasn’t part of my vision board.
It arrived quietly, unexpectedly, and then all at once, changing how I saw time, success, motherhood, and what it really means to be strong. Sarcoma didn’t just challenge my body, it reshaped my priorities, my pace, and the way I choose to show up in the world.
This page exists because some stories are meant to be shared.
I was diagnosed with Sarcoma at a time when I was building, striving, and pushing through life at full speed. What followed was a season of fear, uncertainty, and forced stillness. A kind of pause that strips everything down to what truly matters.
There were moments of exhaustion and doubt. There were also moments of grace. Unexpected kindness, deepened faith in myself, and a clearer understanding of what “enough” really looks like.

Surviving sarcoma opened my eyes to how isolating this journey can be, especially here in the Philippines, where resources, awareness, and community can feel limited.
What began as quiet conversations and small acts of support slowly grew into something bigger. Sarcoma Alliance of the Philippines, a community built on shared experience, compassion, and the belief that no one should face this alone.
The Alliance wasn’t born from strategy.

After my own diagnosis, I wanted to create a space where lived experience meets action. Peer support, practical help, awareness, and small but meaningful programs that ease the load for warriors and caregivers. That’s how Sarcoma Alliance of the Philippines was born.
A Sarcoma diagnosis can be isolating and overwhelming. We make the practical things easier and the emotional things bearable. We connect patients with peers, we share reliable information, and we partner with organizations who can multiply our reach. Together, we transform struggle into solidarity.

If you’re reading this as a patient, caregiver, or someone quietly fighting their own battle.. I see you.
Survival doesn’t look the same for everyone. Healing isn’t linear. Strength isn’t loud. Sometimes, it’s simply choosing to keep going.
